How to make Free Space in disk on Windows

Free Space in the disk is a space which is at the out side of the partition from where it's created. It's used for various reasons such as for making a new partition(New Volume), installing an another operating system(Dual booting) etc. Free space of a hard drive can be accessed out side form the operating system. Free space is created by shrinking a volume or by deleting a whole volume.
So let's learn how to make a free space in the hard drive by shrinking or deleting a volume on Windows.

1st of 2 methods: Make free space by shrinking.

1.Right click on the Windows button and select Disk Managment.
2.Then a window like this will apear.
3.There right click on the volume from where you want to srrink the storage then select Shrink Volume

4.Then a loading window and after that Srink window like this will appear.
5.Then on the Srink window enter the amount of space in MB(Mega Byte) you want to srink. Here it's 4096MB(4GB).
6.Then click Shrink.
7.Then a Free space will created like this. The free space is denoted by green color.

2nd of 2 methods: make free space by deleting.

3.There right click on one of the volume that you want to make free space then select Delete Volume.
Note:Firstly remove all data from the drive and save it to other drive otherwise you will lost then.
4.Then a window with a worning will appear. If you have removed all the data to another drive then select Yes otherwise if you didn't removed your data you'll lost them.
5.Then you'll get a free storage. Here it's 100GB(Giga Byte) as our volume was of 100GB(Giga Byte). The free space is denoted by green color.
